Chance2dance Academy Dance Show

Back in summer I was asked to photograph the dancers of Chance2dance Academy and I was delighted when they asked me back again to photograph the dancers for their bi-annual dance show.

The dance academy is run by Jaki, who is fabulous with all the girls. I would know, as she used to be my dance teacher too! Although I left the dance school a few years ago, it's lovely to still be part of the show build up, the excitement and to see all the costumes.

The theme for the show was dream lands and this was captured through a variety of colourful tutus, 1920's style skirts and many many more!

The girls were all excellent models on the shoot and we still found time to use extra props for some funny pictures. Even Jaki couldn't resist getting involved!

The show was this weekend and I was so excited to watch all the students perform. In true Chance2dance Academy style, it was wonderful!

Cambridge Pet Photo Shoot

When I was asked to look after two doggies for a week, I could not wait to take some cute and fun photographs of them (providing they stayed still long enough!) Right from the start I loved both the personalities and giddiness of Tilly and Tiefi. They loved walks, treats, cuddles and sleeps in their snuggly beds.

Meet Tilly the Toy Poodle. She loves running without her lead on and being the boss of Tiefi!

Meet Tiefi, the Miniature Schnauzer. He loves munching treats and tummy rubs!

They were great models, although Tiefi soon sussed out that when the camera came out he was going to have his photo taken!

If you are interested in a photo shoot with your pet, then please contact me at or visit my website for more details.

Molly and Percy Yorkshire Photo Shoot

Travelling back to Yorkshire is always fun and special to me and in October I met the lovely Emma her two children Molly and Percy. Armed with lots of toys, bubbles and my camera I had a fast paced and fun half an hour capturing Molly and Percy playing!

The shoot took place in a little village called Bradley and the cricket green was the perfect place to let them play and for me to run after them with my camera!

They played on scooters and had a go at blowing big bubbles and then we went for a little walk to feed the ducks by the canal. They threw bread for the ducks and swans, although Molly was sneakily eating some for herself!

I loved this fun shoot and I hope to do another shoot with Molly and Percy sometime in the future. I can't wait to come back to Yorkshire in November for a farm shoot with Janie!

Welcome to Victoria Emma Photography!

It's taken a bit longer than expected, but my website has finally been fully updated. I hope you all like the new design.

So what has been happening? August has been a super exciting month, and a lot has been happening with multiple photo shoots, which I will go into more detail about in later posts.

Firstly, I want to catch you up on what went on in July. Apart from graduating from Bangor University and enjoying taking a few hundred images of a wonderful day, I had the pleasure of visiting my old dance school in North Yorkshire, the Chance2Dance Academy.

The girls at the academy were taking part in the academy's annual summer school, in
which they cover a variety of activities. I was honoured to be invited in to run a promotional studio shoot. The girls were very excited with the studio set-up and after a few nervous smiles and poses they really started to enjoy the shoot. There were plenty of beautiful traditional ballet outfits, ranging from pastel pink to lime green tutus! Safe to say they all looked beautiful.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the shoot, and I loved working with Jaki and her students. I am looking forward to being able to work with them again in the near future. Watch this space!
